Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500g beef steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups of broccoli florets
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Instructions

Step 1: Heat a wok or large frying pan over medium heat.
Step 2: Add the vegetable oil and wait until it’s hot.
Step 3: Add the onion and garlic, sauté until the onions become translucent.
Step 4: Add beef strips to the wok or pan and cook until browned.
Step 5: Add the broccoli, making sure not to overcook. It should still retain its vibrant green color and crisp texture.
Step 6: Mix the soy sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl. Then, pour the mixture over the beef and broccoli.
Step 7: Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
Step 8: Remove the stir-fry from heat and serve with steamed rice.
